Home to the Liberty Memorial and National World War I Museum, this 130-acre park holds great historic significance. Developed in 1904 on land through which the Santa Fe Trail had passed, the grounds are home to commemorative statues such as The Scout, the Pioneer Mother Memorial and The Hiker.

    Such a contrast in time between "The Scout" and the downtown Kansas City skyline.
